Services Provided by AAG and Your Advisor
The investment services provided by AAG and your Advisor are based on four principles:
- Diversification of asset classes and instruments within the asset class
- Investors should be rewarded for the measured level of risk taken
- The investments should be made without commission or "load"
- Reduced management and trading fees add to total investment return
The primary services provided are building and managing an investment portfolio comprised of no load, asset class mutual funds.
The Process
- Data gathering of information pertinent to the investor, such as prior investment experience, age, income needs now and in the future, risk tolerance, amount of investible assets and other factors.
- Using the information gleaned from the data gathered a portfolio comprised of six to twelve asset class mutual funds is structured to accommodate the financial needs, risk tolerance and comfort level. An Investment Policy Statement (IPS) prepared for the investor articulates the results and recommendations generated by the information in the questionnaire. The IPS reflects historic returns and volatility of the recommended portfolio.
- An account is opened and funded at a major custodian such as Schwab Institutional, FiServe or other recognized and substantial firms. The funds are purchased at the custodian in accordance with the Portfolio Allocation agreed upon by the investor, Referring Advisor and AAG. They are purchased without commission and minimal transaction costs.
- Monthly account statements are provided by the custodian.
- Quarterly performance reports are provided by AAG and your Advisor.
- Mid-quarter reoptimization reports are provided by AAG and your Advisor.
This methodology for investment management provides a new model of investing and reporting based not on speculation but on the science of capital markets.
