What reports can I expect from AAG and how often will I receive them?
In cooperation with your Investment Advisor, AAG provides:

  • A quarterly performance report for each account which reflects the portfolio performance as well as the performance for each asset class within the account.
  • Mid quarter "re-optimization" report that assesses the current percentage application of each asset class against the selected optimal allocation. As appropriate, buys and sells are made to bring the portfolio into balance.
  • For taxable accounts, year-end tax reporting is provided in a format that your tax preparer will find very comprehensive.

If I have questions about the reports do I call AAG or my Investment Advisor?
Your Investment Advisor is your primary source for information and questions. If your Advisor needs additional information from AAG, it is readily attainable.

Are the reports that I receive from AAG different from any other company that does reporting?
We believe AAG's reports are more detailed and understandable than others.

How often do you re-balance my portfolio?
Your portfolio is reviewed mid-quarter every calendar quarter and is re-balanced if appropriate. Re-balancing indicated by your initial portfolio allocation.

Is there a difference between asset class funds and index funds?
Index funds are managed funds within a particular index, such as the S&P 500. Asset class funds buy each and every instrument within that asset class and hold them until they are no longer eligible for the asset class.
